Be the Change Foundation - Family Annual Membership

Welcome to Be the Change Foundation! A2C Academy proudly serves as the Foundation's educational platform, offering a dynamic and enriching family volunteering program. This program is designed to inspire creativity, cultivate leadership, innovation and teamwork among participants (both parents and children)  while fostering meaningful connections and community engagement.

Program Overview:

1. Creativity and Innovation Hybrid Bootcamp

• Design Thinking hybrid camp at Stanford University (In-person, Jan 12, 5-9 PM, or zoom) for both parents and students, Professor Eesley will teach the class.

• Follow-Up: Two weeks of online training focusing on Business Plan Writing Using AI tools and Figma Prototype Design

• Value: $2,000

2. Most Accomplished American Citizen Interview, Video Curation and Nomination

• Starts Feb 2025

• Focus:

• Research and select interview candidates

• Outreach and prepare for interviews using AI tools

• Develop and ask impactful questions using AI tools

• Conduct interviews with executives and community Leaders

• Curate videos using AI video editing

• Nominate interviewees as model citizens for America 250 year anniversary celebration. 

• Participation: unlimited online and selective in-person interviews throughout the year

• Value: $2500

3. Sustainable Fashion Program

• Online Training: Four weeks

• In-person Bootcamp: One week in summer, including:

• Design & Dressmaking: Sustainable fashion pieces

• Runway Modeling Training

• Walk the runway to showcase your work at Stanford University

• 10 best design awards will be selected by judges at the runway show

• 10 award winners will attend the Sustainability Conference in Oct/Nov 2025 free, other members  can attend the conference at additional cost

• Value: $2500

4. Autonomous Driving Bootcamp

• Online Training: Three weeks

• In-person Bootcamp: One week in summer, learn how to train self-driving models and compete using the model self-driving cars.

• Participate in a Fall competition - 10 best will be awarded

• 10 award winners will attend the Sustainability Conference in Oct/Nov 2025 free, other members can attend the conference at additional cost.

• Value: $2500

5. Fundraising Training

• Learn effective fundraising strategies

• Practice fundraising with executives and senior Foundation volunteers 

• Value: $1000

6. Live Q&A: Career and Parenting 

• Weekly Q&A sessions

• Monthly expert seminars

• Value: $2400 for two people

Total Program Value: $12,900

Now, you can join this transformative program with a donation of $2,500 for a family of two parents and one child (7+ years old) for 12 months.

• Additional children can be included for $1,000 per child.

• Parents who only have kids younger than 7 years old by the end of 2025 can participate in events with a $1,200 donation.

• People who don’t have kids, but want to join the career Q&A, two people can share the membership for $1,200 donation 

All adult participants are also required to contribute 20 volunteer hours to support the program, if you cannot volunteer 20 hours, you must pay each class individually. 

The donation may include corporate volunteer hours matching funds, corporate donations, or matching contributions. Contributions can come from parents, grandparents, or family friends, making it a collective effort to support this meaningful program.
